Supporting Your Child
(including ADHD, ASD and Anxiety )
The ain't no Manual!
You don’t get a manual when you give birth and you certainly don’t get one for each individual child as they grow up. However, each child is unique, making each parenting journey with each child different and sometimes difficult.
Lots of mums and dads ask me for parenting advice that can help them navigate those tricky situations and to support their child especially those with ASHD and ASD.
Common questions that I get asked….
“ What’s the best way to deal with this situation?”
“ How do I help my child get through X and Y?”
“How do I help my anxious child?”
“How do I help my child with exam stress?”
“ Why does my child react like this?”
“Why do my kids fight all the time?”
“ I’m fed up with arguing over every little thing with my child”
You and your child may not feel you need “formal” therapy but you just want to know how to best support them and how to iron out a few of those parenting issues. This is where a parenting consultation can help. It might be with one parent or both, about one child or the general family dynamic.
We will chat through the issues then I will provide you with the tools you need in a written report so that you can work through any issues you have at home and in your own time.
